Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's a bittersweet day for me with respect to this little blog. Today is the last day that I'm posting on "Peony Park"... I started writing here last year to challenge myself to try something different and to express myself in a completely different format. Along the way, I learned a little about Photoshop, a little about myself {a lot about my future path} and made some wonderful new connections. I also made a major career decision, which has challenged me in ways that I never could have imagined. I've never worked so hard, for so many months. And, I've never been so passionate about my career. In case you were wondering, that's a picture of me, with my husband and son. We began the journey together and, without their unconditional love, there is no way I would've been able to start my own business. I think the photo perfectly expresses where we are today and how far we've come.

I'd like to introduce you to 30 Ponte V ...my new online boutique! 

Along with the boutique, I also have a shiny new blog that I'll be posting on regularly. On the 30 Ponte V blog, I can finally share my insights on jewelry, fashion accessories and decorative objects based on my first-hand knowledge as a buyer and based on extensive daily research.

Happy Friday. I love this photo of the beautiful Charlotte Casiraghi... gorgeous dress, easy ponytail, lovely accessories, simple make-up and pretty smile {all the ingredients for the perfect look}.

New York Highlights...

Hello! I promised you New York, but have been absent for a while. I've had to focus my attention elsewhere, but have been thinking about the blog for the past couple of days. Of course, I didn't take any photos on Instagram. I was so busy just trying to make appointments and getting to places that I completely forgot to snap pictures. The photo above is one of the few I took from the Coterie show. It was just a quick shot of all the patterns...Spring/Summer 2013 is all about patterns, prints, color and fun. Seriously.  Now, back to Fall...and a few observations from New York to share:

• Ace Hotel verdict... I liked it {great music in the evening if you have time to chill}, but my room was facing the street and the windows are not close to being soundproof...not good for a light sleeper
• Tom Ford's lip color in Black Orchid is a small accessory with a big impact. It helped me dress up jeans instantly
• For amazing tapas in New York, go to: Txikito 
• Best coffee in New York so far: Stumptown Coffee Roasters...very, very good coffee

I love New York.

Accessories Week

Welcome to a new week! Hope you had a great weekend. Fashion Week is officially over and I'm sure there are lots of exhausted feet enjoying some down time. It's just beginning for me...I leave for New York this morning for the accessories shows. Many designers preview their shows in their showrooms, where you can focus on each piece and really understand the inspiration behind each collection. With half a dozen appointments and two shows {in 3 days!!}, I'm ready to run! I just started using Instagram, so I'm excited to take some nice snapshots of my favorite moments.

Dream Big

Hello! Anyone out there? :) I haven't had the opportunity to keep up with my blog lately. It's been tough because I've been so busy with work. I also know that I've spoken vaguely about my work since this post. But, I'm excited to finally be able to share some news with you...

I've been working on my own business for a few months now, and I'm getting ready to launch in a few weeks. Really a big departure from practicing law. But, really a dream come true. I've always wanted to get involved in the business of fashion, but my path steered me in a different direction. Many life changes and a unique set of circumstances all came together at the same time, which led me to an amazing opportunity. Actually, it was more like a crossroads where I stood and decided to create my own opportunity by starting my own company - an online boutique featuring an international selection of designer jewelry, accessories and décor. It's high fashion and high passion, as I like to think of it!

I can't wait to share it with the world, and especially with all of you! Over the next couple of weeks, {I'll be working around the clock! Sorry, did I say that out loud?} I'll be sharing more and more with all of you whenever I have the chance. Until then, have a wonderful Monday!
